Find your place
There’s a place for you to serve at Overflow! Whether you love meeting new people, working behind the scenes, praying with others, pouring into the next generation, or helping keep our church safe, there’s a team where you can use your gifts and make a difference.
Welcome Team
Help create a warm, welcoming environment from the moment someone walks through the doors.
Ways to serve:
- Greeters — Open doors, welcome people as they arrive, and help everyone feel at home.
- Guides — Help new guests find their way around, answer questions, and assist them with completing our Next Steps form.
- Ushers — Help with offering, seating, and other needs during the service.
You don’t have to know everyone—you just need to be friendly, helpful, and ready to make people feel welcome!

Tech Team
Our Tech Team helps make every service happen both in the room and online. No experience? That’s okay! We can help train you.
Ways to serve:
- Slides + Lighting — Control the computer that runs lyrics, sermon slides, videos, and other content on our screens, as well as our lighting.
- Sound — Operate the sound board and help make sure worship, speaking, and other audio are clear and balanced.
- Livestream — Learn to operate our cameras and help stream our second service to YouTube and Facebook.
This is a great team for someone who enjoys technology, learning new things, or serving behind the scenes.
* Tech team is responsible for serving both services 9am & 10:45am on your scheduled date *
* If you are on Slides or Sound you are responsible for attending our Worship Team practice the Thursday before the Sunday you are scheduled *

Prayer Team
If you have a heart for prayer and for standing with others in some of their most important moments, we would love for you to consider joining our Prayer Team.
During each service, we have four Prayer Team members available—two on each side of the stage—ready to pray with anyone who comes forward.
Prayer Team members should be compassionate, spiritually mature, comfortable praying with others, and committed to keeping personal prayer needs

Kids Team
Help us create a safe, fun environment where our kids can learn about Jesus and know just how loved they are.
Our Kids Team serves in:
- Nursery Ages 0-2
- Ages 2–4
- Ages 4–6
- Elementary Ages 6–10
Those serving as teachers will receive the lesson ahead of time so they have time to read through it and prepare before Sunday.
We’re looking for people who genuinely love kids, are dependable, and have a heart for pouring into the next generation.

Safety Team
Our Safety Team serves behind the scenes to help keep our church family, children, volunteers, and guests safe each Sunday.
Team members stay attentive throughout the morning, monitor the building and surrounding areas, respond when assistance is needed, and help create a secure environment where everyone can worship with peace of mind.
We’re looking for people who are observant, dependable, calm under pressure, and have a heart for serving and protecting others.

Clean Team
Our Clean Team helps care for our church by keeping our building clean, welcoming, and ready for everyone who walks through our doors.
Clean Team members are placed on a rotation, so you won’t be responsible for cleaning every week. When it’s your turn, you’ll help with general cleaning throughout the church and making sure our spaces are ready for the week ahead.
This is a great way to serve behind the scenes and make a difference in a practical way. If you’re dependable and don’t mind lending a hand to help care for our church home, we’d love to have you on the team!
